"There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate."
When I think of that phrase it gives me the chills. I don't know why but i just gives me the chills. "There is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves." says Carl Sagan. If you look at it, he means it in a scientific way, which I get. But when I saw it, I took it in differently. When i first saw the phrase first read the phrase i though it was the phrase that stood out to me. The reason why it stood out to me rather the the other phrases is because its true that there is no where else to migrate. If the "Pale Blue Dot" were to have a world war 3 all humanity could do is to sit down and watch the mushroom-shaped clouds ascend. And soon the world will end and humanity will be dead. But if we some how found out how to get to other planets and adapt to their environment and to produce life.
